Raccoons

Raccoons coming up to house
Raccoons will continue to come up to a house or porch where food is set out for other animals. The food must be brought in and the routine changed for at least a week or longer before the raccoon will stop depending on the site as a food stop. Raccoons travel habitually in an area looking for food and can travel 5 miles a night. They may visit a site nightly or only every 2 or 3 nights a week. You will have to be patient and wait for the raccoon to break his habit.

Raccoon in yard or digging in flowers
Raccoons that are digging in your lawn are usually looking for bugs that live in the grass and dirt. Bright lights, Milky Spore (which kills the grubs in the lawn), or loud music will help deter them from continuing to dig in your lawn.
